You use this information for a digital receiver.
Note: A digital receiver cannot record and store programs; you can only use it to watch programs.
You can use the parental control feature to block content based on FCC content labels:
- Violence (V)
- Sexual situations (S)
- Suggestive dialogue (D)
- Adult language (L)
- Press Menu button on remote twice to display the Settings menu.
- Use the up or down arrow button on your remote to highlight Parental Control.
- Use the right arrow button on the remote to highlight Lock Content.
- Press the Select button on the remote.
You can set the receiver to show either the last channel viewed or a specific channel when you turn the receiver on.
- Press the Menu button on the remote control twice to access the Settings menu.
- Use the up or down arrow button on the remote to highlight Power–On Channel.
- Press the right arrow on the remote and then use the up or down arrows to highlight a specific channel or Last Channel.
- Press the Select button on the remote.
Result: A white dot appears beside the channel call letters.
Use separate PINs for parental control and purchasing. You can find the purchase PIN under its own menu.
- Press the Menu button on remote control twice to access the Settings menu.
- Use the up or down arrow button on the remote to highlight Purchasing.
- Press the right arrow button on the remote to display the PIN Entry window.
- Use the number buttons on the remote to enter your PIN.
- Press Select.
