Solution

Use this procedure if you want to turn off ads, and you have a digital video recorder (DVR).

Interactive program ads are banners that are displayed on the top or bottom third of your TV screen during a commercial of infomercial. You can use your remote control to disable the ads.

1
On your remote control, press the Settings button, then press the A button to display the General Settings menu.
2
Press the up or down arrow on your remote control to highlight My Preferences.
3
Press the right arrow on your remote control to display more options.
4
Press the up or down arrow button on the remote to navigate to Enhanced TV Apps on the menu.
5
Press the right arrow and then press the up or down arrow to select Disabled.
6

Press the Select button on your remote control to accept or confirm the change.

Result: A white dot appears beside the setting.

7
Press the Exit button on the remote to return to the full-screen TV.
