Solution
As a Cox High Speed Internet Customer, you have a license to download Cox Security Suite Plus on up to 5 computers, and McAfee family protection on up to 3 computers. You must login as the Primary Account Holder User ID in order to use Cox Security Software. For more information on what this means, see Understanding Digital Identities and Account Types.
Uninstall Cox Security Suite for PC
Click Start on your computer, then click Control Panel.
Double-click the Change/Remove Programs icon (Windows Vista / Windows 7 users click Uninstall Programs).
Locate McAfee Security Center in the list of installed programs and click once to highlight. Be sure to choose all the McAfee products you have installed under the Security Center.
Click the Add/Remove (or Uninstall) button to allow Windows to complete the uninstall process.
If at any time you are prompted to remove shared files, answer Yes to all.
