Solution

Complete the following steps to connect additional computers to the Cox home gateways using wireless. If you have not connected your first computer as a wired connection, refer to Connect a Home Gateway With an Ethernet Connection.

Access your computer's Wireless Network Connection application (either MAC or Windows).

Locate the SSID of the wireless network printed on the label of your gateway. Refer to the following articles:

Select the SSID on the new computer's wireless network application.

Result: A request for the passphrase displays.

Locate the Passphrase printed on the label of your gateway. Refer to the following articles:

Enter the Passphrase exactly as it appears on the label of your gateway.

Note: The wireless passphrase is case sensitive.
