Current Channel Changes for Las Vegas
On or after September 12, 2013, C-SPAN will move from channel 95; it will continue to be available on digital channel 192. TVs with QAM tuners can also access C-SPAN on channel 75.8 or 75-8.
To continue viewing C-SPAN, a digital receiver, CableCARD, or TV with a digital tuner is required. Please call 979-6653 for more details.
Removal of KTUD Channel 14 and 1014
KTUD-Vegas TV on Cox Channels 14 (SD) and 1014 (HD) has shut down its operations on October 11, 2013, and no longer available on the Las Vegas Channel Lineup.
The programming featured on KTUD-CD included: Family Guy, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, The Office, That 70's Show, Everybody Hates Chris, Frasier, Tyler Perry's House of Payne, South Park, Married with Children, Deadliest Catch, Cheers, Roseanne, and BETA Records TV.
KTUD (Cox Channels 14 (SD) and 1014 (HD)) shut down operations on October 11, 2013, this was not a Cox decision to remove them from the channel lineup.
Yes, KTUD is local TV station and made the decision to cease broadcasting.
Cox Las Vegas will continue to offer other variety programming which you may find in the TV Starter Package.
The Regional Franchise Authority has established a phone number at 455-8888 in order to give consumers an opportunity to voice their concerns.
Customers who subscribe to analog levels of service only (Cox TV Starter or Cox TV Essential); and customers who have a TV connected to Cox service with a Digital receiver, a CableCARD device, or a retail device that allows tuning of unencrypted digital broadcast channels.
Cox TV Starter provides a range of channels including local broadcast stations (such as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS), and any exclusive local government and education channels.
Analog” refers to the technology used to transfer signals over a network. It is the same historic technology built into televisions in the past, although virtually all new televisions sold over the past few years are built on digital technology.
Channel changes and re-brands are happening for a variety of channels and stations.
- Most channels are removed, renamed, or re-branded by the broadcaster and is outside of the control of Cox.
- Channels that are dropped from the channel lineup are typically removed by the broadcaster themselves and are outside the control of Cox.
- Cox does not always receive much advanced notice of these changes or moves.

Music Choice is Adding, Removing, and Renaming Channels
On December 10, Music Choice will add new channels to the lineup. Many channel names and locations will change channel numbers on the Cox channel lineup. They will also be removing one channel (Classic Alternative) from the lineup.
Music Choice channels being renamed on the lineup includes:
