A Cox Tech Solutions technician can diagnose and repair most problems remotely. Software and peripheral installation, home networking, and other in-home services are also available.

Services

You can choose from different types of services delivered via phone, remote log-in, or in-home visits. In addition to these services, you also have the option to purchase a monthly subscription-based service. Services provided for premium technical support include:

  • Resolution of PC crashes
  • Removal of spyware, malware, and viruses
  • Install and configure new PC applications and software
  • Install and configure new PC devices like printers and digital cameras
  • Configure home network security settings
  • Resolve home network connectivity issues
  • Add new network devices to existing wireless network
  • Resolve operating system and software error messages
  • Move data from one computer to another
  • Other PC-related issues

Qualifications

Cox Tech Solutions is available to the following:

  • Subscription services are available only to Cox High Speed Internet customers.
  • Single incident services are available to any Cox customer.

Note: If you subscribe to Cox Video or High Speed Internet service, you can place the charges on your Cox bill.

The following system requirements are supported.

  • PC: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 and a High Speed Internet connection (for remote service).
  • Mac: Mac OS X 10.4 or higher.
