In preparation for your Cox Home Security installation, there are some important things you need to know.

- Email access - During installation, you are required to access the email account on file with Cox. Ensure you have an installed Internet connection and access to email prior to the technician’s arrival.
- Preparing for your installation - Cox Home Security gives you a lot of great features. In order to learn those features quickly and reduce risk of causing false alarms, download and complete the Preparing For Your Installation (PDF) prior to your installation. Your technician needs this information during the system activation process.
