Summary

Use this article if you are an existing Cox customer moving to another Cox-serviced location.

Solution

Do not use this article if you are:

  • A new customer. Please see Placing an Order Online for instructions.
  • An existing Cox customer moving outside of the Cox serving area. Please visit CableMover.com or call 1-866-408-1734 to review providers at your new address.

To transfer services based on localized offerings:

  1. Go to www.cox.com
  2. Click the My Connection tab.
  3. Sign In with your User ID and Password. If you haven’t already created a User ID and Password, click the “Register Now!” link and provide your Cox account number and Cox PIN; which are located on your bill.
  4. Click My Account.
  5. Click Move My Services.


  6. Select: I am a current Cox customer – but I’m moving my services.
  7. Enter your new Address.
  8. If you want to disconnect services at your old address, click Yes and then enter the date and time in the boxes provided.
  9. Click Continue and follow the prompts to move your services based on the local offers in the selected Cox service area.

All steps complete.
