Getting Started 

To access and use Cox Secure Backup on your iPhone, complete the following steps.

1. Download the Cox Secure Online Backup app from the Apple App Store.
2. Once downloaded, tap the icon and sign in using your Cox User ID and Password.

All sections of the Cox Secure Online Backup Mobile application are accessed from the Main Menu screen. Clicking on any of the icons will launch the selected section. The Main Navigation screen appears as below. 

Managing Files in My Files

The My Files screen contains all folders and files in your online files. Files may include documents, photos, videos and music files – all organized alphabetically.

Accessing and Previewing Files and Folders

1. From the Main Menu, tap My Files.
   
   Result: Uploaded files are displayed.
    
    
   
2. From the My Files screen, tap the filename you want to preview.
   
   Result: The file opens in the Previewer. From here you can Share, Manage (Rename, Move, or Delete), or download the file to your iPhone.
   
   
   
   Note: To preview files in a different folder, tap the folder to view all files within it.
    

Adding a Folder

1. From My Files, tap the Add Folder icon in the lower task bar.
   
   Result: A screen asking what would you like to create displays.
   
   
   
2. Tap Folder.

Adding a Photo or Video

1. From My Files, tap the Upload icon in the lower task bar.
   
   Result:A screen asking what would you like to upload displays.
   
   
   
2. Tap Photo, Video, Audio, or Any file.

Sharing Files and Folders

1. From My Files, select the file or folder that you want to share.
2. While previewing the file or folder, tap the Share icon in the lower task bar.
   
   Result: A confirmation message displays.
   
3. Tap Share This Folder to confirm that you want to share the selected folder.
   
   Result: The Share screen containing an address book of contacts with e-mail addresses displays.
    
4. Tap the circle next to each contact you want to share the file or folder with.
   
   Result: A checkmark displays in the circle next to each contact.
   
   
   
5. Tap the Share icon at the bottom..

Renaming a File or Folder

1. While previewing a file or folder from the My Files screen, tap the Manage icon in the lower task bar.
   
   Result: The File Management menu displays.
   
   
    
2. Tap Rename.
3. From the Rename item screen, enter a new file name and tap Accept.
   
   

Moving a File or Folder

1. While previewing a file or folder from the My Files screen, tap the Manage icon in the lower task bar.
   
   Result: The File Management menu displays.
    
   
2. Tap Move.
3. From the Select Destination folder screen, select a folder and tap Move.
   
   
   

Deleting a File or Folder

1. While previewing a file or folder from the My Files screen, tap the Manage icon in the lower task bar.
   
   Result: The File Management menu displays.
   
   
    
2. Tap Delete File.
3. Tap Delete to permanently delete the file.

Accessing My File Player

1. From the Cox Secure Online Browser Main Menu, tap My File Player.
   
   Result: The My File Player screen displays.
   
    
   
2. Tap the file player that you want to view.
   
    
   
   Note: While viewing the file player files, you can choose from the following options
   • Refresh
   • List/Thumbnail View
   • Share File Player
   • Play
   • Management
   • Add to File Player

Adding Files

1. From the File Player viewer, press the Add Elements icon in the lower task bar.
2. Select the items you want to add to the current File Player.
3. Tap Done.

Playing Files

1. From the File Player Viewer, tap the Play icon.
    
   Result: A File Preview slideshow launches. Each file in the File Player will play in sequential order in which they are listed.
    

2. Tap Pause, or Previous and Next to move backward and forward through the File Player slideshow.

• Cox Backup Mobile organizes your backups that are scheduled automatically from the PC or Mac backup client. Backups are organized by date.
• My Backups gives you the ability to see all their previous and current backup sets organized by computer name.
• Files can quickly be searched and located. Easily view the details (size, modification dates, and sharing history) of each file that is stored in your account.

1. From the Cox Secure Online Browser Main Menu, tap My Backups.
    
   Result: The My Backup screen displays.
    

2. Select the folder(s) you want to backup. Follow instructions.
    
   

The Settings Section contains configuration items for managing the Cox Backup Mobile application.  There are two categories:

• My Account - Log Out, used space, and username are displayed.
• Adjustments - Remember password, transfer speed, media download quality, and cache size are displayed.

The Help section contains information for assistance in using the Cox Backup Mobile application. Help is available for the following four topics:
