Solution

As of May 21, 2013 CoxSync is no longer available for download. Cox will continue to support this application until August 29, 2013.

  1. From the start menu, go to All Programs.
  2. Locate and highlight CoxSync.

    Result: The right arrow will display the following options:
    • Add or remove components
    • Uninstall
    • CoxSync

Select one of the options. 
If...Then...
Add or remove componentsProceed to Step 3.
UninstallProceed to Step 4.
CoxSync

The CoxSync application opens.

All steps complete.

After selecting Add or remove components, the InstallShield Wizard displays.

Follow the prompts to add or remove applications.

All steps complete.

  1. After selecting Uninstall CoxSync, the InstallShield Wizard displays.

    Note: If the CoxSync Companion is present in the system tray menu and you attempt to uninstall it, a message will display and ask for you to close the CoxSync Companion before continuing. Close the CoxSync Companion and click the Yes button to proceed.
  2. Follow the prompts to uninstall CoxSync.

 All steps complete.
