Overview

Connection Optimizer is an easy to use tool for Ultimate Internet Service customers to optimizer an Internet connection by changing the registry settings in Windows. For eligibility requirements, refer to About Connection Optimizer.

To access and run the Connection Optimizer on your Ultimate Internet Service, complete the following steps.

From the My Connection page, next to My Services, click the Internet link.

Result: The Internet Tools page displays.

Enter primary User ID and Password, then click the Sign In button.

Note: If you do not remember your password, click the Forgot your Password? link.

In the Enhancements column, under Connection Optimizer, click the Optimizer Now! link.

Result: The Manage Connection Optimizer page displays.

Check the I have read and accept the End User License Agreement box, then click the Optimizer Windows button.

Note: You can return to the settings you had prior to optimization by clicking the Return Settings button.

Result: Detailed installation instructions display.
