Learn how to install McAfee Family Protection for Mac OS X.
Solution
As a Cox High Speed Internet Customer, you a have license to download Cox Security Suite Plus on up to 5 computers, and McAfee family protection on up to 3 computers. You must login with the primary account Holder User ID in order to use Cox Security Software.
Using Cox Security Software
Remember you can always find all the useful features of your McAfee software right on your desktop with McAfee Security Center. Just click the appropriate link in Cox Security Software Features.

Click here if you are running Windows.
After activating McAfee Family Protection on the Cox Internet Tools page, you will be forwarded to McAfee website to download the installation package.
On the Family Protection tab, click the Download button for McAfee Family Protection.
The Download button will result in an error if you have previously installed this software. See the FAQs in this article for more information.
Review the License Agreement, then click I Agree.
Click Start Download.
Write down or save a copy of the serial number on this page for reference. You will be prompted to enter this serial number during installation.
Double-click Install McAfee Family Protection.
Result: A warning message displays.
Click Open.
Click Continue.
Result: The McAfee Family Protection Installer displays.
Click Continue.
Review the Software License Agreement, then click Continue.
Click Agree.
Click Continue.
Click Install.
If prompted, enter your Mac admin Name and Password, then click OK.
Click Continue Installation.
Once the installation is complete, click Restart.
After your Mac restarts, the Activation window displays. Enter your primary account holder Email Address and Password to activate McAfee Family Protection.
Click the close this window link. McAfee Family Protection is now installed on your Mac.
