Summary

Learn how to resolve a failed CoxSync synchronization authentication.

Solution

As of May 21, 2013 CoxSync is no longer available for download. Cox will continue to support this application until June 27, 2013.

If authentication fails, the Account Login window opens.

  1. Re-enter the Cox Login and Cox password.
  2. Click the Save Password checkbox.
  3. Click Next.

Note: If you launch synchronization five times in a row and those fives attempts fail due to authentication, the account will lock. A pop-up window displays with a message that the account has been locked. The account will unlock automatically within 30 minutes.
