Cox Digital Telephone Starter

  • Available to new residential customers in Cox serviceable areas who newly subscribe to Cox Starter Telephone service and who have not disconnected from Cox Digital Telephone in the last 30 days. Cox Starter Telephone consists of a Primary Phone line. Advertised rate includes monthly recurring service fees, but excludes equipment charges, installation, charges for international calling, directory assistance, operator-assisted calls, per use or à la carte features, and long distance charges not included in the calling plan. Additional jacks, inside wiring, reconnection, activation, taxes, franchise fees, and surcharges are additional. Regular rates apply after promotional period, if any.  Cox phone service provides high quality voice connection to residential customers in Cox’s service area.  Telephone modem required and will be provided for the duration of phone service subscription. Upon disconnection of phone service, modem must be returned within 30 days or a monthly rental fee or lost equipment charge will apply.  Modem uses household electrical power to operate.  Telephone service, including access to e911 service, will not be available during a power outage without a battery or if the modem is moved or inoperable.   • To enroll in the plan, you must be a Cox Digital Telephone customer and choose Cox as your long distance provider. Subscription fee is $2.99 per month. Mi México 200

  • Mi México 200 provides 200 long distance minutes per month per line at no additional charge. Minutes are limited to direct-dialed, long distance calls to wireline telephones in Mexico (Country Code 52). Plan requires subscription to Cox for local, toll and state to state long distance service. Unused plan minutes have no cash value, do not roll over, and expire at the end of the billing cycle. Overage minutes are 4¢/minute after plan limit reached. All calls to wireless numbers (Country Code 521) are billed at $0.25 per minute. Other restrictions may apply.

Professional Installation (up to 2 lines)

  • Professional Installation includes installation of service(s) and equipment you have ordered from Cox by a Cox Communications or contracted technician. Professional installation may be required if you are not an active customer or for specific services (ex. Basic Cable, or Digital Telephone). These requirements vary by location. Installation of equipment will vary by service selection and location.

Cox Service Protection Plan

  • Wiring coverage applies to Cox- and customer-owned wiring in single family and other select housing. Subscription to the Cox Service Protection Plan required, which is billed monthly and in advance. Your plan subscription will be cancelled without notice if no Cox service is being provided to the residence, or if any misuse or abuse of the plan services occurs, or if a hazard or danger to the person or property exists which could prevent Cox technicians from performing their work in a safe manner. Your plan subscription may also be suspended or discontinued upon notice for nonpayment. No equipment warranties are provided under this plan. Customer will be charged for service call due to failed self-install. Digital Gateway required. Rates and programming subject to change without notice. Cable modem rental or purchase required. Total of four telephone lines allowed. Maximum charge on a per use basis is $5.25 per feature, per month. Priority Ringing on up to 31 phone numbers.
