 Common Causes and Solutions for View/Pay Bill Problems 
 Cox.com Contact Email Address is Incomplete - If you're registered on Cox.com but didn't supply a contact email address, you'll have to add one before we can process your payment. In addition, View/Pay Bill sends a confirmation email to your contact email address, so it's important to keep it current. To add or update a contact email address, see Cox.com Account Registration and Preferences. 
 Bill Pay Contains Incorrect or Invalid Information - Using a credit or debit card to complete payment? Double check that you've entered the number, expiration, and security code information correctly. If paying by electronic check, confirm that your routing and account numbers have been entered correctly. 
 Account Type Includes Limited Access - For your security, there are two types of Cox.com account: Account Holder (primary) and Authorized User (secondary). Refer to Cox.com User ID Account Types to confirm the types of secure account access associated with your profile. 
 Account Restrictions - You may not be able to complete an online transaction due to restrictions placed on your account or due to invalid / incorrect credit card information.
