To perform this procedure, you need to be familiar with the following buttons on your remote control.

Turn on the device you want to program.
Note: If you have multiple devices, such as a TV and DVR, make sure only the device you want to program is turned on.
Find your device and brand from the following table and note the number assigned to your brand.

If your device is not listed, refer to the Remote Control User's Guide or the procedure that explains how to search for your code. You may also want to visit remotes.cox.com for additional information and device codes.
Press and hold the Mute and Select buttons at the same time until the device button blinks twice and then release both buttons.
Press and release the device button (AUX, TV, or DVD).
Aim the remote at the device you are programming and press the number button for the brand of device.
Release the number button.
Result: The device turns off, and the code is saved automatically in the remote.
