Cox does not support all browsers. The following information is for reference only. For specific information on using Google Chrome, visit Google.com.
How do I create a new tab?
Open the Chrome browser and go to the very top tab. Click the diagonal item next that tab. If you hover over the item it will say New Tab.
On this new tab you will also notice four (4) icons on a white background. You can use these icons to navigate to other Chrome properties.
How do I resize or move a tab?
To resize a tab:
Resizing your browser window will resize all tabs unless you separate the tabs. To do so, drag the tab to the desktop and it will become a new window.
To move a tab:
- Drag the tab to the left or right to switch its position with other tabs.
- Drag the tab to the far left of the window or to the far right of the window. It will separate from the others to become a left or right rail tab
- Drag the tab to the far top or far bottom to move the tab to either of these locations.
