Solution
Follow these steps to sign into the Cox Home Security Subscriber Portal.
- In a web browser, go to https://portal.coxhomesecurity.com.
Result: The Subscriber Portal Sign In page displays. - Enter the user name and password, then click Sign In.
Note: If you forget your username or password, click the appropriate link on the Sign In page to begin the process of retrieving your username or resetting your password. Follow the instructions on the web pages or email messages associated with this process to restore your access to the web portal.
Result: The Main page displays.
Failed Sign-In Attempts
If you attempt to sign in unsuccessfully five times in a row by entering the wrong username and password combination, the Sign In page blocks you from signing in to the Subscriber Portal for 30 minutes. Even a valid username and password combination fails at that point. This is a security measure and if this happens, a message informs you that your account has been locked and that it cannot be accessed to sign in for 30 minutes.
