A free service to our Phone customers, Phone Tools is a cool way to make the most of your calling features. This online service also lets you interact with your phone on the web or using our New Cox Mobile Connect app. You can easily manage your call settings, voice mail and call logs, from anywhere – all your need is your computer or smartphone. When you spend time away from home, you get great advantages, like tracking the calling that’s going on when you’re away. If you have kids, you’ll love it.

Phone Tools gives you quick and easy online access to:

  • View, print and save incoming and outgoing call history (updated every 15 minutes)
  • Control feature settings like call waiting and call forwarding
  • Listen to and manage voice mail messages
  • Set email notification for new voice mail messages

Cox Phone + Cox Advanced TV = Free TV Caller ID

Because people do call during the big game... TV Caller ID let's you decide which calls to answer. From the comfort of your couch, you can enjoy your favorite show and see your Caller ID on the TV screen. Take the call or keep watching; now the choice is yours, right in front of your eyes.

TV Caller ID is as easy to use as your remote control:

  • See on-screen Caller ID name and telephone number
  • Avoid interruptions by choosing which calls to take
  • Manage your incoming calls and access call history

TV Caller ID is a free service available to subscribers of both Cox Digital Telephone and Cox Advanced TV. Your selected phone service must have Caller ID to operate and access to some functions may require subscription to additional service features.

Always free individual features – the features you count on being there

900 and 976 blocking – If these calls shouldn't be made from your house, they won't be. Not by guests, not by anyone.

Caller ID blocking-all calls – Removes your caller ID phone number and name from being presented, ever. Your calls will always appear anonymously to whoever you dial.

Per call caller ID blocking – Turns off caller ID from outbound calls that you make on a per call basis. Caller ID is a great feature and your privacy is too.

Long-distance charge block – If you don't want long-distance call charges, block them all with this feature. You cannot unblock this feature by dialing codes on your phone. You need to call a customer service representative and provide your account security information before this block will be removed.

Available to residential customers in Cox areas. Service plans and prices shown for flat rate service. Measured rate and lifeline phone service are available in many Cox locations, contact us for details. To order other telephone services, please call our sales department. Telephone modem may be required and will be provided (at no additional cost to consumer) for duration of phone service subscription. Upon disconnection of phone service, modem must be returned within 30 days or a monthly rental fee or lost equipment charge will apply. Modem uses household electrical power to operate and has backup battery power provided by Cox if electricity is interrupted. Telephone service, including access to e911 service, will not be available during an extended power outage or if the modem is moved or inoperable. Unlimited plan long distance minutes are limited to direct-dialed long distance calls within the United States and its unincorporated territories and require subscription to Cox for local, toll and state to state long distance service. Unlimited plan long distance minutes can be used only for residential, non-commercial voice calls and usage that is not consistent with such use may subject your account to review and/or suspension or termination of your service. If your area offers zone-based calling, contact your local Cox system for details on zones and rates. Bundle pricing requires purchase of additional services. Prices exclude taxes, surcharges and other fees including a monthly FCC access charge and Federal Universal Service Fund. Service may require credit approval and deposit may be required.
