Overview

Customers increasingly demand alternate ways to access video content. Cox is meeting the demand though the launch of Cox TV Online, which you can use to access TV programs and movies over the Internet. You do not need to be in your home or even within a Cox serving area. You can use Cox TV Online from any location in the U.S. with Internet access. Your status as a Cox customer gives you access to the full Cox TV Online service. If you are not a Cox customer, you can still have access to some free content.

What's offered? 

The content available through Cox TV Online consists of two types:

• News clips, movie trailers, and promotional content. This content is free and available to anyone. Providers include AP News, AP Entertainment, and Tribune Media Services (TMS).
• TV shows and movies. Availability of this previously shown content is for Cox customers only.

Cox TV Online Requirements 

• To access TV shows and movies, you must register on Cox.com by creating a user ID and password. If you click a thumbnail for content that requires a subscription, a login page appears. You must log in with your Cox.com user ID and password. If you are not a Cox video subscriber, contact Cox to discuss adding the necessary level of service.
• If you are already a Cox customer and have registered on Cox.com, you will be authenticated through the Cox Identity Management (IDM) service. When viewing content through the Cox.com website, you only have to log in once, in most circumstances. The first time you try to access Epix, you need to register with that site; afterwards, Epix automatically recognize your authentication credentials.
  

Your Cox Video account must be current to view subscription based Video content such as HBO and EpixHD.

Content Provider Requirements 

Each Cox TV Online provider has requirements regarding account types, age restrictions, or the number of users who can log in at the same time from an account. The following information explains the requirements and options for each service provider.

To access all Turner content, you must be a subscriber to Cox Advanced TV Essential. This provider includes:

• TBS
• TNT
• truTV
• Cartoon Network
• Adult Swim

BTN2GO

Note: BTN2Go is only available to customers in the following markets and service levels:

• Arizona - Sports and Information Pak
• Las Vegas - Sports and Information Pak
• Cleveland - TV Essential
• Omaha - Advanced TV Essential with Digital Equipment
• Kansas/Arkansas - Sports and Information Pak
• Northern Virginia - Sports and Information Pak
  

Minimum system requirements
A broadband Internet connection (DSL/cable or higher) of 750 kbps or higher is needed for BTN2Go. If you have an Internet connection speed of 3.0 Mbps or higher and your computer meets the requirements below, you will be able to enjoy BTN2Go at its highest video quality.

Minimum requirements for Windows computers

• Intel Pentium 4 2.33GHz or higher or equivalent AMD processor with a minimum of 512MB of memory and 64MB of video RAM.
• One of the following operating systems: Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows Media Center Edition.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox:

If you subscribe to the Pac-12 network through Cox, you can use your Cox User ID and Password to access http://video.Pac-12.com to view live On Demand video content. You must subscribe to the applicable service tier or package within the following markets.

You must have a Cox User ID and Password to sign in and view the video content available at http://video.Pac-12.com.
 
Note: There is not a Cox High Speed Internet requirement to access and view this content.
