See steps on how to connect and sign in to the Cox WiFi network.
To sign in to Cox WiFi follow the steps below.

| Cox customer in a Cox service area | - Enable WiFi on your wireless device and search for available networks.
- In your list of available networks, select CoxWiFi.
- Launch your Internet browser.
- Sign in with your Cox Username and Password.

- In your list of available networks, select CableWiFi.
- Launch your Internet browser.
- Select your Internet provider from the list.
- Sign in with your Cox Username and Password

- In your list of available networks, select CableWiFi.

Due to the numerous Wi-Fi devices and configurations available, Cox is only able to confirm that Cox WiFi service is functioning correctly. Cox does not offer technical support for connecting devices to the Internet. Please refer to the user manual for your device should you require additional assistance.

- Tap Wi-Fi.
- If Wi-Fi is set to OFF, tap the OFF button to turn it on.

Result: Your device searches for available Wi-Fi networks in range. - Tap CoxWiFi / CableWiFi from the list of available networks (SSIDs).
Result: A check mark will appear next to the CoxWiFi SSID.

- If turned off, touch Wi-Fi to turn it on.

- Tap CoxWiFi / CableWiFi from list of available networks.
- Launch your Internet browser.

- Tap Wi-Fi.
- If Wi-Fi is set to OFF, tap ON to turn it on.

- Tap CoxWiFi / CableWiFi from the list of available networks (SSIDs).

| Mac OS X | AirPort is used on Macs to set up and manage Wi-Fi connections. The AirPort icon is found in the menu bar next to the clock. If the icon is empty, Airport is turned off, or you are not within Wi-Fi range. If the icon is filled in, you are currently within Wi-Fi range. To turn AirPort on: - Click the AirPort icon.
- Select Turn AirPort On.

- Select CoxWiFi / CableWiFi from the list of available networks (SSIDs).
Result: Once connected, a check mark will appear in the AirPort menu next to the CoxWiFi SSID.
- Launch your Internet browser.

| Windows 7 | | - Click Start (in the lower left hand corner or your screen).
- Click Connect to.
Result: The Show list window displays.
- From the Show list, select Wireless.
Result: A list of wireless networks in range displays.
- Select CoxWiFi / CableWiFi from the list of available networks and click Connect.
- Launch your Internet browser.

| Windows XP | | - Click Start (in the lower left hand corner or your screen).
- Click Connect to.
- Click Wireless Network Connection.
Result: Your computer searches for wireless networks in range.
- Select CoxWiFi / CableWiFi from the list of available networks and click Connect.
Result: You will be prompted that you are connecting to an unsecured wireless network.
- Click Connect Anyway.
Result: Your computer acquires an IP address from the CoxWiFi network and the status will display as Connected, confirming you are connected to the CoxWiFi network.
- Launch your Internet browser.
The Wireless Network Connection icon will appear in your computer's system tray near the clock. To display the strength of your connection, hover over the icon using your mouse. |
| Windows 8 | | - From the Charms Bar, tap or click Settings.
- Tap or click the wireless network icon.
Result: A list of available networks displays.
- Launch your Internet browser.

To sign out of Cox WiFi, turn Wi-Fi off on your device.
