You can access and improve your camera quality using the Cox Home Security touchscreen.

Solution

The following steps can assist you in enhancing the quality of the camera video that displays on your touchscreen, Cox Home Security Subscriber Portal, mobile device or tablet.

Touch Settings on the touchscreen home.

Enter the Master Code to proceed to the Settings menu.

From the Setting menu, touch Home Devices.

From the Home Devices menu touch Cameras.

After Cameras menu loads, touch Edit a Camera.

From the Edit a Camera screen, touch the camera you wish to edit.

  1. On the Edit New Camera screen, touch the Video Quality field.

    Note: Before updating your settings, it may display low or medium as video quality.

  2. Touch Next to continue.

  1. On the Adjust Camera Video Quality screen, touch High.
  2. Touch Next to continue.

    Note: Review upload capacity to ensure highest quality video.

The Video Quality field should now display a High setting.  Touch Next to continue. 

 

Result: Your camera quality has been upgraded!

If you have additional cameras, you can repeat this process to enhance video quality.
