Solution

If you have Whole Home DVR with several receivers, you'll want to name the receivers in the onscreen guide. It makes it easier to access a particular receiver, change its settings, and make recordings when each receiver has a descriptive name.

Go to the receiver you want to name.

Press the SETTINGS button on the remote.

  1. Highlight the Receivers option and press the SELECT button.
    Result: DVR Network displays in the middle box.
  2. Highlight the DVR Network option and press SELECT.

Highlight the Change Receiver Name option and press SELECT.

  1. Use the arrows and SELECT button to create a name, such as DEN, MASTER BR, SECOND BR, LR, BASEMENT, OFFICE, or KITCHEN.
  2. Press the B button on the remote to save the  name.

Repeat steps 1 through 5 for each receiver.
