Volume control can be set to an audio device instead of the TV
| Let's you set the remote's VOL button to a separate audio device rather than the TV. | By default, the volume button on the remote is programmed to operate the TV volume. But, if you've connected a stereo, surround sound, or AV receiver to the TV or cable box and want to use that audio device to control the volume rather than the TV, then complete these steps: .
To cancel the audio volume setting above, and restore volume control via the TV:
