Solution
Cox provides location-based advertising to its users to provide a more personalized experience while on the web.
To opt out of location-based advertising, complete the following steps.
From the My Connection page, next to My Services, click the Internet link.

Result: The Internet Tools page displays.
Enter primary User ID and Password, then click the Sign In button.
Note: If you do not remember your password, click the Forgot your Password? link.

Under the Account Management column, under Location-based Advertising, click the Manage Location-based Advertising link.

Result: The Opt Out page displays.
Select the I wish to opt out of Location-based Advertising. radio button, then click the Submit button.

Result: A confirmation page displays.
Click the Confirm button.

Result: The opt out of location-based advertising is complete. To opt-in, follow the same steps above and select the I wish to receive more relevant advertising based on my location. radio button.
