Solution
The Cox Digital Interactive AT8400 Remote Control is programmed to control channels in one of the following ways:
- For a specified device, regardless of the current mode (Note: In AUX mode, the remote always controls channels for the device assigned to the AUX button.)
- For the device associated with the current mode
Note: To test your remote to see how it currently controls the channels, press the following buttons, which are controlled by the channel control settings:
- 0 - 9
- CH+
- CH-
- FAV
- LAST
Note: Specifying that the channel controls work only with the cable box ensures that you do not accidentally change the TV off of the channel required for viewing cable and auxiliary devices properly (usually 3 or 4).
