Troubleshooting the Netgear WGR614 Router

|Power||On||None||The router is powered on.|
|Blinking||Not connected to the Internet.||Turn off all network devices, including the modem, router, and computers. Then turn on each device in the following order: |
|Off||No power||Verify power supply connections and electrical outlet. Also make sure the outlet is not connected to a switch.|
|Test||On||None||The router is performing the power on self test diagnostic.|
|Blinking||None||The router is performing a firmware upgrade or restoring the factory defaults.|
|Off||None||The router successfully completed the power on self test diagnostic.|
|Wireless||On||None||Wireless feature is enabled.|
|Off||None||Wireless feature is not in use.|
|Internet||On (Amber)||Ethernet cable is connected but the router has not received an IP address.||Verify all cable connections and try resetting the modem. If cable is OK and modem reset does not work, contact Customer Support.|
|On (Green)||None||The router has received an Internet address.|
|Blinking (Green)||None||Data is being transmitted or received by the Internet port.|

The router is successfully connected to a device through that port and communicating at 100 Mbps.
|Blinking (Green)||None||There is network activity over that port.|
|On (Amber)||None||The router is successfully connected to a device through that port and communicating at 10 Mbps.|
|Blinking (Amber)||None||There is network activity over that port.|
|Off||No Ethernet found||Verify Ethernet cable connections, the TCP/IP settings and the NIC. NIC drivers may need to be reinstalled. If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact Customer Support.|
