Solution

To pay your bill by phone, use the steps below.

Call our free, 24/7 Automated Phone service. The phone number is provided on:

  • Our Contact Us webpage
  • The first page of your paper bill under the Contact Us heading
  • Your paper bill stored online in our View/Pay Bill website;  click the link to see it

When prompted, enter the phone number associated with the account.

When prompted, enter your 4-digit Cox PIN number for authentication purposes.

Select the option to hear your balance or make a payment.

Note: There are no fees for checking your balance or making a payment using this automated phone service.

Follow the prompts to make a payment using a credit card, debit card, checking account number, or savings account number.

Result: Your "balance due" will be adjusted immediately. Your "payment status" will be updated the next day.
