There are 3 ways to turn off Parental Control:

• Unblock a single channel, so you can watch it.
• Unblock all content, so you can view all programs.
• Permanently disable the blocking PIN.

Unblock a single channel: 

1. Tune to a blocked channel you want to watch.
2. Press SELECT button.
3. Press the A button.
4. Enter your 4-digit PIN. 
5. Press the A button, then the EXIT button. 

Result: The channel now shows the program. Parental control stays active for all the other blocked channels, ratings, and times. 

To reactive the block on the single channel, either turn OFF the cable box or select Activate Parental Control from the Quick Settings menu. .

Unblock all of your selected channels, ratings, and times: 

There are 2 ways to unblock all selected content, either:

From Quick Settings

1. Press SETTINGS button
2. Scroll to the Activate Parental Control option.
3. Press the right arrow button to move the white dot from the YES column to the NO column. NO means do not activate Parental Control. 
4. Enter your 4-digit PIN.
5. Press the A button, then the EXIT button.

Result: The channel now shows the program. Parental control stays active for all the other blocked channels, ratings, and times. 

To reactivate all of the blocks, either turn OFF the cable box or select Activate Parental Control from the Quick Settings menu.

From General Settings

1. Press the SETTINGS button then the A button.
2. Use the arrow buttons to scroll to the Parental Control preference.
3. Press the right arrow and highlight the Disable option.
4. Press SELECT.
5. Enter your 4-digit PIN.
6. Press the A button, then the EXIT button.

Result: Parental control is now disabled and all channels, programs, and times are unblocked. 

To reactivate all of the blocks, either turn OFF the cable box or select Activate Parental Control from the Quick Settings menu.

Permanently disable the blocking PIN:

1. Press the SETTINGS button then the A button.
2. Scroll to Parental Controls section and highlight the Blocking PIN preference.
3. Press the right arrow and highlight the Disable option.
4. Press SELECT.
5. Enter your 4-digit PIN.
6. Press the A button then the EXIT button.

Result: All channels, ratings, and time periods are now unblocked. They will remain unblocked unless you create a new PIN, select blocks, and turn on (activate) Parental Control.
