Cox Navigator M4078 Remote Control
To search for a code for a device, perform the following steps:
Note: The mode buttons blink twice when the remote reaches the last code in a library. Each mode button has a library of codes associated with it. The number of codes in a library determines how long it will take to check all of the codes in that library.
- Turn on the device for which you want to find a code.
- Point the remote control at the device and press the mode button associated with the device.
- Press and hold the SETUP button until the red light blinks twice, and then release the SETUP button.
- Using the number buttons, enter 9 - 9 - 1.
Slowly alternate between pressing the POWER button and the mode button until the device turns off. There may be as many as 100 codes stored in the remote control, so keep pressing the Power and mode buttons.
Note: If you are searching for a code for a VCR, press the play button between the fast-forward and rewind buttons instead of the POWER button.
Result: The device turns off, or, if you pressed the play button, the VCR starts playing.- Immediately, press the SETUP button to lock in the code.
All steps complete.
