Remote DVR scheduling is an added feature for customers with a:
- Valid Cox.net email address
- Cox DVR service
- Data-capable wireless phone
- Subscription to data service through any wireless provider
How to Register to Use Remote DVR Scheduling
- Using your wireless phone, access your Internet browser.
- Enter cox.com/mydvr in the address field.
- Click Enter.
Result: the Welcome screen displays.Note: Read the information on this screen carefully before continuing to the next screen. Cox does not charge for remote DVR scheduling; however, wireless charges may apply depending on the plan you have through your wireless provider.
- Click Continue.
Result: The Login screen displays.
To log in to remote DVR scheduler for the first time, complete the following steps:
- Click the 1st Time User button.
Result: The Registration screen displays.
- In the Phone field, enter your wireless telephone number.
Note: This must be a 10-digit number in the format of XXXXXXXXXX. Do not add a 1 for long distance and do not use hyphens or spaces. - In the PIN field, create a new PIN. It must be a 4-7 digit number.
Note: Do not use your SSN or phone number. - In the Cox.net Username field, enter your Cox.net user name (the extension is already added).
- In the Cox.net Password field, enter your Cox.net password.
After all fields are populated, click the Submit button.
Result: The Menu screen displays.Click TV Listings to browse the program guide, or enter a keyword and search for a specific TV listing.

How to Log In to Remote DVR Scheduling
- Using your wireless phone, access your Internet browser.

Note: If you forget your PIN, click the Forgot Your PIN? Re-register link to create a new PIN. The remote DVR scheduling feature does not send an email reminder of your PIN, so it is recommended that you write it down and keep it in a safe place. - Click Submit.
Result: The Menu screen displays.
All steps complete.
