How do I enable the pop-up blocker?
Note: If you are on a webpage use the steps below, if you are on the Firefox homepage and no webpage is displayed go to step 3.
On the menu bar click Tools then in the drop-down click Page Info. The Page Info option is only available when you are on an actual webpage.
- Click Permissions.
- Under Open pop-up window make sure Block is checked. If not, uncheck Use default then uncheck Allow.
- If you are not on an actual webpage you want to block, click Settings at the bottom of the Firefox homepage.
- Click Content.
- To stop blocking pop-ups, remove the check from the box next to Block pop-up windows. To block pop-ups, add a check in the box.
