How to Secure Access to Your Account

Follow these steps to create a secret question and answer, which can be used if you lose your PIN, or to update your email address (so that we can notify you by email every time a change was made to your account), or to suppress your PIN from printing on your bill.
- Go to www.cox.com
- Click My Connection.
- Log in with your User ID and Password.
- Click My Account.
- Click View More Profile Options.
- Click Security Preferences.
- Create the following:
- Secret Question
- Secret Answer
- A current Email Address
- Click Continue to complete the process.
All steps complete.
