Learn how to configure CoxSync Application and Advanced settings.
Solution
Click the CoxSync desktop icon.
Result: The CoxSync Companion page displays and automatically performs a sync based on the default Sychronization Scheduling settings.
Note: If you did not save your Cox login and Cox password, an Account login page displays. Follow the prompts to enter your Cox login and Cox password.
Select the Settings icon.
Result: The Settings page displays the following tabs:
- Account
- Application
- Connection
- Scheduling
- Conflicts
Result: The Select a program page displays.
From the first drop down, select the applications you wish to synchronize.
Note: The list of applications will depend on the programs on your PC that are compatible with CoxSync.
- From the database drop down(s) select the action to perform:
Note: The databases displayed will depend on the application selected. For example, Outlook Express only has Contacts.- Synchronize
- Refresh Sync
- Slow Export
- Slow Import
- Click the Apply button.

- To configure subfolders within a database (contacts, events and/ or tasks), proceed to Step 7.
All steps complete.
To Configure Advanced Settings:
- From the Applications tab, select the Options button.
Note: The Options button may not be availabe for all applications. - Choose the folder you want to synchronize.
Note: Only one folder can be synchronized for each type of data (contacts, events and /or tasks). - Click Apply.

All steps complete.
