Solution
Delete a Message
Select the message(s) to delete, then click the Delete button.
Result: If in preferences, When deleting messages, Move to Trash Folder is selected, then the message(s) is sent to the Trash folder. If Delete Immediately is selected, then a confirmation window displays.
Note: Messages can also be deleted by pressing the Delete key or by right-clicking the message and selecting Delete Message.
