AntiVirus

Anti-Virus provides scanning that blocks worms, viruses, trojans and other unwanted programs before they are installed on your computer. Anti-Virus is always on and daily updates are installed automatically to ensure that the computer has up-to-date protection.

AntiSpyware

The Anti-Spyware service blocks spyware before it can be installed on your computer and also removes any existing spyware.

AntiPhishing via SiteAdvisor

SiteAdvisor protects your computer from adware, spyware, spam, viruses, phishing and online scams by providing information about the safety of the site visited. The program adds a rating about the safety of the site. These ratings are color coded so you know if the site is good.

Firewall

Cox Security Suite also provides Firewall protection that automatically monitors activity and allows your computer to be hidden on the Internet. This level of protection prevents hackers from accessing your personal information, installing viruses and spyware or using your email account to send spam.

Parental Controls

Parental Controls allows you to set filters on your computer. Filters can restrict certain sites, images and even times of the day. In addition, parental control software allows you to configure controls based on the Windows user name.
