Summary
Learn how to configure the SAP setting on your cable box to hear an alernate language or descriptive video narration track for television programs, when available.
Solution
What is SAP?
SAP is a secondary audio stream that a broadcaster may choose to transmit for television programs. This stream may include an audio track in another language (such as French or Spanish) and/or Descriptive Video narration for the visually-impaired.
When SAP is available for a show, the program description in the Program Guide will display the SAP icon. Use the the steps below to turn on SAP.
If you turn on the SAP setting, but the program does not carry a second audio track, then you may not hear any audio at all. Simply turn off SAP to restore the original audio.
