Summary
This article describes how to activate and deactivate Channel Control Lock capabilities on the remote control.
Solution
By default, the remote control’s channel-control capabilities are locked to work only with the cable receiver. Channel Control Lock affects the following buttons on the Cox remote control:
- 0 - 9
- CH+
- CH-
- ENTER
- LAST
The buttons are locked so that you do not inadvertently change a channel on your TV or VCR. This article describes how to:
- Deactivate Channel Control Lock to allow full access to these keys in the TV and VCR modes.
- Reactivate Channel Control Lock to control only the cable receiver.
This feature does not affect the AUD mode.
