Follow these steps to access CoxSync.

From the desktop, double click the CoxSync icon.

or

From the Start menu, go to All Programs, highlight CoxSync and then left click on CoxSync

If...Then...
Accessing CoxSync for the first time

The CoxSync Companion launches the Account login page.

Proceed to step 2.

The Cox login and Cox password were previously saved

Sync performs an automatic sync based on the default Synchronization Scheduling settings. Once complete a Processing Complete message displays.

The Cox Companion Main Profile page displays the following icons:

  • Stop
  • Settings
  • Logs
  • Help
  • Go to Web


All steps complete.

The Cox login and Cox password were NOT previously saved

The CoxSync Companion launches the Account login page.

Proceed to step 2.

  1. Enter the Cox login and Cox password.

    To save the password, click the Save Password checkbox. If you select to Save Password, Cox Sync will automatically log you in to the application going forward.
  2. Click the Next button.




    Note
    : In the above example, the first field is the default network path.


    Result:  The CoxSync Companion pop-up box asks Do you want to start s sync?

 

If you select...Then...
Yes

The Cox Cox Sync Companion will display an Authentication message while the account information is validated.

Once the sync is complete a Processing Complete message displays.


All steps complete.

No

The Cox Companion Main Profile page displays the following icons:

  • Stop
  • Settings
  • Logs
  • Help
  • Go to Web
