Key Fob

Take your key fob and stand in front of the touchscreen.

Push the asterisk (*) button on the middle of the key fob and use the table below to diagnose the light sequence flashes you receive.

If...Then...
The light on the key fob flashes red four timesThe key fob is not communicating with the touchscreen. Contact Customer Support.
The light on the key fob flashes three times every five secondsThe key fob is not paired. Contact Customer Support.

The light on the key fob does anything else such as:

  • Solid red
  • Green
  • Orange
The key fob is communicating with the touchscreen. Continue to step 4.

If the key fob is still not functioning normally take these steps:

  • If the key fob is not arming, stand closer to the touchscreen.
  • Do not stand behind barriers that may be in the way. For example walls, garage doors, inside car etc. should be avoided.
Going through any types of walls or while inside a car the key fob will only have a range of 25 to 50 feet.

If you don't have any barrier obstructions and the key fob isn't functioning, contact Customer Support.

Keypad

If...Then...
Low BatteryBatteries will need to be replaced. Contact Customer Support.
Communication FailureContact Customer Support to activate keypad to test, perform sensor test.
Poor Wireless Sensor StrengthMove or rotate the sensor.
TamperCover has been physically removed from its base check sensor mounting.
Dead BatteryWill start with low battery message and end with communication failure. Contact Customer Support.
Sensor FailureMake sure the battery is good and installed correctly. Contact Customer Support.
