Call waiting allows you to be on a phone call and receive a special tone while on the call indicating that another call is coming in. Call Waiting can be used with Caller ID. When these features are combined, you receive a special tone alerting you to a waiting call and you also receive a visual display of the name and number of the person calling.

- To alternate between the first and second caller, press and quickly release the switchhook.
