English Premier League Soccer
As the Premier League season nears its conclusion, Manchester United takes on Norwich City from Old Trafford in Greater Manchester, England. Led by Wayne Rooney, United won a record 20th league title last season but sat midpack in the standings at this writing. Norwich, meanwhile, was looking up at most of the league's 19 other teams and in danger of being demoted yet again. Danny Welbeck's winner propelled United over Norwich, 1-0, in December.
NASCAR's Sprint Cup season continues with the Toyota Owners 400 from Richmond International Raceway in Virginia. Kevin Harvick lines up his No. 4 Chevrolet as the race's defending champion, having beaten Clint Bowyer last year by .343 seconds in a green-white-checkered finish for his third win on Richmond's .75-mile oval and 20th of his career. Harvick went on to place third overall in the 2013 Sprint Cup standings.
My Cat From Hell
Cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy is back for another season of mending relationships between out-of-control felines and the humans who love them. In the season premiere, "Sky Diver's Nightmare," Jacques needs help reining in his two Savannah cats, who are channeling their excess energy into attacking people and destroying his possessions. Then Jackson takes on Wolfie, who is using the whole house as his cat box and his owners' stuff as his litter.
Bullet to the Head
Filmmaker Walter Hill ("48 HRS.") never has held back on straight-ahead action, and the title of this graphic-novel-inspired 2013 tale indicates he hasn't changed his method. He has an ideal match in star Sylvester Stallone, playing a heavily tattooed hit man who teams with a Washington, D.C., policeman (Sang Kung) to even the score with those responsible for killing allies of both of them. Sarah Shahi, Christian Slater and Jason Momoa also star.
Starving in Suburbia
This new drama sheds light on a disturbing development: the "pro-ana" movement, which promotes anorexia as a lifestyle choice. Laura Slade Wiggins ("The Tomorrow People") stars as a 17-year-old girl who falls under the spell of a "thinspiration" website and its founder (Izabella Miko, "Clash of the Titans"). Callie Thorne ("Necessary Roughness"), Marcus Giamatti ("Judging Amy") and Sharon Lawrence ("Rizzoli & Isles") also star.
Austin City Limits
In this episode from 2013, singer-songwriter Norah Jones makes her second "ACL" appearance, showcasing songs from her album "Little Broken Hearts," including "Say Goodbye," "Miriam" and the title track. She shares the stage this time with Kat Edmondson, who performs selections from her LP "Way Down Low."
The team must reopen a hit-and-run murder case after the prime suspect's lawyer tells Gibbs (Mark Harmon) that her client has a solid -- but confidential -- alibi. McGee (Sean Murray) wonders why Tony (Michael Weatherly) is behaving strangely in "Alibi." Pauley Perrette and David McCallum also star.
Da Vinci's Demons
Challenges await Leonardo and Riario (Tom Riley, Blake Ritson) as they enter the Vault of Heaven. Lorenzo (Elliot Cowan) is caught up in King Ferrante's (Matthew Marsh) bloody games. Lucrezia (Laura Haddock) has an encounter with the Turk (Alexander Siddig) in Constantinople in the new episode "The Rope of the Dead."
If you aren't getting enough of a Viking fix from the "Thor" movies and the History series "Vikings," here's another tale, which incorporates some fantastical elements into its plotline. Dominic Purcell ("Prison Break") stars as Eirick, a forgotten king who is called upon to kill Thor (Conan Stevens, "Game of Thrones") before he lays his hands on some ancient relics that will allow the Viking gods to continue ruling over humankind.
A battle between interim WBA welterweight champion Keith "One Time" Thurman (22-0, 20 KOs) and former lightweight titleholder Julio "The Kidd" Diaz (40-9-1, 29 KOs) highlights a boxing tripleheader live from Carson, Calif. Also on the Showtime card is a junior welterweight bout matching Lucas Matthysse against John Molina, and Omar Figueroa defends his WBC lightweight title when he faces fellow Texan Jerry Belmontes.
