(Oklahoma City, OK) -- About a dozen Oklahoma City police and sheriff's deputies raided a Bingo hall near Northwest 50th and Meridian last night. Once there, officers say they seized nearly 20 phone card machines that play like slot machines. About 50 customers were allowed to leave Bingo City, but 20 employees were detained for questioning. No one was arrested on the spot. Oklahoma County officials have been issuing warnings about the phone card machines, and the sheriff's office says once they learn who owns the ones seized last night, there will be a host of felony charges. The sheriff's office says they've been investigating the business for a month, following up on citizen tips.
