Pancreatic Cancer Walk Saturday At University Of Oklahoma

(Norman, OK) -- The fifth annual Garden Walk for Pancreatic Cancer steps off at 9 a.m. Saturday at the gardens of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Free registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Stanton L. Young Biomedical Research Center. Guest speaker will be Dr. Shubham Pant, a university Cancer Institute oncologist. Organizers say pancreatic cancer is the fourth-leading cause of cancer death in the nation, with more than 35-thousand people a year dying from the disease.<
