(Oklahoma City, OK) -- Saying Oklahoma needs its college graduates, the State Regents for Higher Education are asking lawmakers for 25-point-five-million-dollars in new funding, nearly 70-million in stimulus dollars, plus repayment of over 35-million projected to be lost to revenue shortfalls. Higher education officials will also continue lobbying against any legislation that would permit concealed guns on campus. Their opponent is the National Rifle Association.
