(Oklahoma City, OK) -- Gene Kirkpatrick, the 63-year-old man accused of hiring his handyman to kill his son-in-law in Fargo, North Dakota, is fighting extradition to face the charge. Kirkpatrick was arrested Monday night. He's accused of paying Michael Nakvinda three-thousand-dollars to kill Philip Gattuso. Police say it's because Kirkpatrick didn't like the way Gattuso was raising his three-year-old granddaughter since Gattuso's wife died. Nakvinda has waived extradition on murder and related charges. Kirkpatrick is jailed without bond.
