CHARITABLE GIVING

Cox Communications has long been a proud supporter of the San Diego community. In 2012, we will continue to focus our philanthropic giving in areas where we can make the biggest impact.  

At the core of our community support are three key focus areas:  Youth, Education and Military.  With advances in technology and its strong emergence into our daily lives, homes and classrooms, Cox recognizes the importance of broadband access for all children and will support programs that leverage our cutting-edge technology and network to help bridge the digital divide.  Additionally, Cox will continue to fund programs that support military families, specifically targeting efforts that help our military personnel stay connected to their families during deployment and transition into civilian life.

In addition to our corporate giving program, Cox’s philanthropic arm, the Cox Cares Foundation (formerly Cox Kids Foundation) also offers support for our community through scholarships and nonprofit grants.  The Cox Cares Foundation is funded by donations from employee paychecks that are matched by the company.  Refer to the Cox Cares page for more information. 

To optimize our impact in our focus areas, we generally do not support:
