The mission of Cox and its employees is to support local organizations that share our commitment to champion education, youth and technology initiatives.

Cox is Committed to San Diego

Cox Communications San Diego is proud to support the communities we serve! Our commitment to our community is an integral part of our company’s core beliefs: It’s something we believe in and act on every day. Each year, Cox and the Cox Kids Foundation donate millions of dollars in cash and services to support local nonprofit organizations. We partner with community organizations and charitable groups to lend our communications strength to their efforts.

Charitable Giving

Cox supports local organizations through grants, cash sponsorships, public service announcements and auction/raffle items, and we support a variety of charitable giving organizations that focus on these key areas:

• Education - Initiatives that benefit elementary, middle and high school students;
• Youth – Programs that provide children and youth the essentials they need to become self-supporting members of society;
• Technology – Projects that bridge the digital divide for students in grades K-12.

We normally do not support endowment funds or foundations; individuals; religious or political organizations; recreational sports teams or clubs; travel; or walks/runs.
