(Richmond, VA) -- The sour economy is causing more outfits than profit-making industries to succeed. Nonprofit organizations are also being hit hard during the recession that finds resources dwindling. The gloomy situation is causing them to alter the way they can continue to help people trying to make ends meet. Fifty nonprofits will meet tonight to discuss working together to help needy people survive. The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Nacho Mama's, 7610 Left Flank Road, in Mechanicsville.
