School Board To Discuss New School Plans

(Richmond, VA) -- Members of the Richmond School Board will gather today to decide if a new Hugueno High School will be available by the end of 2013. The 81-million-dollar question will be the subject of two work sessions involving building new schools for the first time in ten years. More than half of 149-million dollars allotted by the City Council for schools would be used to build Hugueno High and replace the facility built in 1961. The need for new schools is obvious, however, there's lot of room for debate regarding which ones to build.
