(Henrico, VA) -- Sentencing for Shay Cameron Mann has been delayed. Mann was convicted of impersonating a police officer, brandishing a firearm, attempted abduction, and using a firearm during a felonious act. An unusual motion was filed by Henrico County Commonwealth's Attorney Wade A. Kizer who requested a postponement in sentencing. Emotional testimony from teachers, family and friends of Mann played a role in the ruling by Judge James E. Kulp who granted a stay until November 24th. Kizer filed the motion to examine if the judge has authority to amend the conviction after finding Mann guilty.
